Community Meeting - Open Cast Mine Development at Airfield, Cousland

PUBLIC MEETING -AIRFIELD OPENCAST PROPOSAL

Thursday 28th August 7.30pm Cousland Village Hall

Stage 1

7.30pm - 7.35pm: Introduction & Welcome

7.40pm - 8pm: Scottish Coal will give a summary & update, followed by short Question & Answer session.

Written questions can be submitted before or at the start of the meeting and marked - 'Question for Scottish Coal' or 'General Forum Point'

Stage 2

8.00pm -8.20pm: Open discussion from community

Stage 3

from 8.20pm: Forward planning

Midlothian Doors Open Day - Cousland Smiddy

Cousland Smiddy Trust
Cousland Smiddy will be taking part in Midlothian Doors Open Day on Saturday 13th September. The Smiddy will be open from 10am - 4.30pm with demonstrations, displays, teas, home baking & local produce for sale and original artwork for auction.
Details will follow and all donations and offers of help will be gratefully received
