New! Walking maps around Cousland, download or print versions available.
The villagers of Cousland are justly enthusiastic about the many lovely walking routes around the village and would like to share them with you.
We have produced walking maps & routes for all abilities to enjoy, 6 here in pairs to download to a device or print for your pocket.
We would welcome feedback on the routes, how you found the instructions and any other comments so that we can improve the offering. Use the email link at the top of the website to do this please.
To print 2 x A6 routes print page 1 on 1 side of a sheet of A4, remove and put back into the printer, top in and printed side up then print page 2 on the back.
Depending on your browser, you may be best to download the .pdf to your computer before you print.
Routes available are:
Smeaton & Mary's Mount:
Fordel Loop & Fuffet's View:
Ormiston Outer & Inner Circles:
Walkers are reminded that these routes are published in good faith by the village and will be tested throughout the year, but cannot be responsible for events which close the routes.
We would also ask you to respect the Scottish Outdoor Access Code http://www.snh.gov.uk/docs/B621366.pdf
The bus timetable can be found on the Local Information page of this website. There are currently no buses on a Sunday - sorry! Cars may be parked easily in Cousland Village, we would remind visitors that farm entrances are often in use in this rural area.
