Walking Routes around Cousland
Some years ago CVHA obtained approval from local landowners to develop paths from the village linking with the Pencaitland Railways Walk, thereby providing a circular route from the village. Applications were submitted for funding to develop the paths and the applications have progressed to a critical stage. However, due partly to the current workload on CVHA committee and other active residents, progress on the project has stalled. Help is needed to take the application to the next stage and subsequent development should funding be granted. CAAOC - Stop the Open Cast Car Stickers now available
The impromptu raffle at Hogmanay raised £53.73 and thanks to Cousland Park Livery who raised more than £700 at their fancy dress fundraising dressage on 13th December. Stop the Open Cast Car Stickers priced at £2.50 each are available from Jennifer - 654 2370 and any unwanted gifts that we can sell on eBay to raise cash will also be gratefully received.
