We have learned that the quarry at Chalkieside near Cousland has been granted permission for infill by East Lothian Council on 5th January 2010.
Location: Chalkieside Farm Carberry East Lothian EH22 2NL. (The location of Chalkieside Quarry is marked on our map of local developments)
Development: Infill of quarry and formation of temporary vehicular access track for a period of 12 months.
Applicant: Lothian Recycling
Per Ian Ross Cousland Limeworks Cousland Dalkeith Midlothian EH22 2PJ
